Seibel Flags at half staff from sunrise to sunset July 2nd, 2026 DENVER - Today, Governor Polis ordered flags to half staff in honor of Sergeant Devin A. Seibel who died on May 31, 2026 at Erbil Airbase, Iraq in support of Operations Inherent Resolve. Sergeant Devin A. Seibel was assigned to the Air Ambulance Company 2nd Battalion, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado. Flags are ordered to fly at half staff from sunrise to sunset on Thursday, July 2nd the day of Sergeant Seibel’s memorial. “Brave members of our military put their lives on the line every day. In Colorado, we are proud of our brave service members and no sacrifice goes unnoticed. My thoughts are with Sergeant Devin A. Seibel’s family and loved ones on the day of Sergeant Seibel’s memorial as we lower our flags across our state. May he rest in peace,” said Governor Polis.
